I read where they compare Frankfurt to Manhattan and Chicago and I would have to agree. The old city is quite nice and has many beautiful, old buildings and statues. The newer section has very modern skyscrapers. The city is very diverse with many different types of restaurants and people. There are streets that I preferred to not walk down as they are a bit seedy. The city itself is not as clean as the others that we have visited on this journey.
