The Spanish Steps are listed as a recommended site to visit, so we did. The 138 steps were completed in 1725 and seem to be a place where people just sit around and visit. There were thousands of people there on a Sunday afternoon. We visited a church that is located at the top of the stairs and then walked to a park called Borghese Gardens.
