We arrived in Segovia in the early afternoon and started our visit at the Segovia Cathedral. It is a very beautiful church, both inside and out. They began the construction of the cathedral in 1525 and went through various stages of completion. It took nearly 200 years to complete and  was consecrated in 1768. There are more than 23 chapels within the cathedral, all beautifully decorated.
