Mirabell Palace and gardens & Mozart’s Birthplace & Residence, Salzburg, Austria

We visited the birthplace and residence of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. I learned a lot about his life and family. He spent much of his youth in the third floor apartment where he was born. At age five he was already competent on keyboard and violin, he had begun to compose, and he performed before European royalty. His sister was also extremely talented. We also visited the residence where the family lived. Wolfgang died at the young age of 35 and was supposedly quite in debt as he did not manage his money well.

We also visited the Mirabell Palace and gardens. I especially enjoyed the gardens, with beautiful flowers and statues. The dwarf garden was quite cute.
