We took a stroll through the old town of Koblenz and looked at some of the old buildings and churches. We enjoyed the cable car ride up the mountain to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress which dates back to the 18th century. There is an observation deck where you have beautiful views of the Rhine River and the city.

We took the train from Koblenz to Frankfurt and enjoyed views of the Rhine River Valley. There are several vineyards which are located on very steep hills. We also saw at least a dozen castles along the way.
