We took the Tommy Thomson scenic drive from Queenstown to Glenorchy. The Glenorchy sign reads “Gateway to Paradise” and it is really a beautiful area. We stopped several times along the way just to take photos. The lakes and mountains are very lovely.The town itself is quite small with not much to see. We took the loop trail around the Glenorchy Lagoon Boardwalk. After yesterdays hike our legs deserved a day of rest.
